Happy 8th Birthday Rose

Rose helped me plan the cake and even added some finishing touches to it herself.

I made name labels for the water bottles.

Put up pretty decorations...

balloons here and there
purple flower streamer
birthday banner

more balloons

punch/organic apple juice table

And we were ready!

As the girls arrived I had this activity on the table....

They decorated their own little bags to put things in during the party.  I then taped the bag to the back of their chairs so they would be convenient, yet out of the way.

I had a wonderful teen-aged assistant, Miss Elisha.

They played Pin The Tail on the Donkey

We made tissue paper flowers.  If you remember this POST then you know how much these precious little things can mean to me.  Rose has made me tissue paper flowers for Mother's Day and birthdays for years (with daddy's help of course)

Then it was pinata time!

We then helped the girls make tie-knot pillows.

Strung candy necklaces...

played ping pong ball balanced on the spoon....

Had cake and presents....

All these sweet guests made for a very precious and sweet 8th birthday party for Rose.

Waving good-bye....
