I found a few stores online that sell them.... But before I do that, I will continue to try and find some still on Christmas clearance. If Samantha has seen them recently on clearance, then there is still hope! But if not then at least I know I can still order them online.
(how did people live before the internet?)

In search of....
I need some miniature candy canes for Rose's birthday cake. I forgot to pick some up at Christmas time!! It was July when she requested a CANDYLAND cake (as seen in my Taste of Home Magazine) for her 4th birthday. I thought she might forget about it or change her mind before April rolled around. nope. She wants Candyland, and thinks she can't turn 4 without it.
So if you know where I can find some or have some left over please contact me.
THANKS

Wednesday's Field Trip...
Today we went to a Music Class. It is for 0 to 4 year olds. It included songs, dance, story, instruments, etc. They were the oldest ones there. Everyone else was under two. But they still had a blast. And they were so sweet and precious to the little ones. They loved being the Big helpers. It was very sweet. I was very impressed with the class and the teacher.
The Dancing Queen
Rose at the Music Class. Dancing to 'The Dancing Queen'.....you can see at the very end she has to go check on that little baby sitting on the floor. She Loves babies!

"Mommy, will you play with me?"
We do lots of different 'play' in a day....I thought this was cute. Here she is making words with felt letters. The cards are Word World cards from Target and the felt board and felt letters I bought at Once Upon a Child consignment for just a few dollars.

Home school
I love home schooling Rose (and Andrew). It is so fun to watch them learn. This weekend I got a couple of projects done. I put up a fun bulletin board. I had one up before, but took it down. I couldn't get it out of my mind, so I decided to put one up again. I thought it would be fun to incorporate Rose's framed art at the top. The frame has a picture she drew at age one and Hand prints at age two. I plan on changing the hand prints each month to match the theme for that month. (although last year we didn't start doing the monthly hand prints till Feb. so the Feb hand prints will have to do for Jan and Feb.) I also plan on changing the bulletin board at least once a month.
Can you find Rose and Andrew's name in the snowflakes? How about the snowflake rose and I made together and she put up all by herself? Or the snowflakes that she painted? Isn't this fun?
(click on the photos to see them super sized)

And I finally put labels on the bins! They haven't had labels. Then I put these 'pencil' labels on them....but it looked way too cluttered, so I decided to make my own layered (pink of course) labels.
And I think they turned out much nicer. Rose has already been better about putting things back in the correct bins.
