At Sunday fellowship Supper we had a Mini Christmas meal with organic, local and homemade foods. Yum.
This week was filled with lots of fun.
The kids enjoyed decorating the gingerbread house...
....and making the annual Chocolate Peanut-butter Balls
On Monday they opened Grandma and Grandpa Anderson's presents.
One evening Grandma and Grandpa Irvin watched the kids so mom and dad could go out on a date to celebrate their 20th Anniversary (6th months late, lol)
We decided to do lots of selfies during our pleasant evening in downtown Cincy.
and our favorite Anniversary card is this one....
On Christmas Eve the kids get to open one present....
Then we head over to Gma and Gpa's for the day.
Michael is trying out his new metal detector.
We all have fun playing Aunt Kiki's Christmas Game. It is a mix of singing Carols, silly games, reading the Birth of Christ in the Bible, and collecting information to record in the memory book.
Then we celebrate with gifts for everyone...
We enjoy games, especially strategy games.
The girls playing with some new gifts.
The excitement on Christmas morning...
Gma and Gpa came over for Christmas Steak Lunch.
Then back to Gma and Gpa's that evening.
It was a wonderful Christmas celebration. I enjoyed not having to travel across the country to be with family to celebrate. It was a wonderful, delightful time!
The kids joyfully helped Gma put away all of her Christmas decorations. I love their sweet spirit.
