Yes Christmas! I know it is not even Halloween and I do LOVE Thanksgiving...but I am already ready to hear Christmas music, do Christmas crafts, see Christmas decorations, etc.
I love the FALL, so I don't want it to go by too fast (especially since it still feels like summer here). I don't know why I am in the mood for Christmas so much today. I am going to try and back track my mind to think...leaves, and pumpkins, and turkeys, and harvest....come on mind...think of orange, and brown, and burgundy, and yellow. I still need to enjoy; jack-o-lanterns, pilgrims, Indians, ....ah that is better... (but why is Christmas music still playing in the back of my head?) ...Does anyone know of any "fall" music that I can put in its place?

We went to Zoo Atlanta. Today we spent more time with the animals we normally don't always get around to seeing: the kangaroos, and birds, and the petting zoo. Played on the zoo playground. Had a picnic supper at the church playground before class. It was a fun filled day!
On Saturday I went to a really good neighborhood Yard Sale. This is my favorite find for $25! It runs great, Rose is having a lot of fun with it. I was also able to get some great floor puzzles, books, Boogle Jr, Space shuttle pop-up play tent, etc. I love it when it it is NICE stuff and marked at .25, .50, or a buck or two. Good Deals!
The Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain. (Daddy got to go with us!) We had toddler Fall Story Time, Barn Maze, Bubble Play, Meet Scooby-Doo, Watched a pie eating contest, Rode the Sky tram up the Mountain, Played on top of the Mountain, WALKED down the mountain, Rode the train, Played on the playground, and had fun.
Rose set this up then yells "supper's ready" (for me to come join them for supper)
Rose set this up when I left the teaching supplies cabinet unlocked. She loves to paint. (we paint a few times a week, but she is always ready for more) and when I set up paint, I usually only get two or three colors at a time. I guess her creative side needs access to all the colors and to a whole bottle of glitter :)
