Week 6 and a Couple of Farms

A variety of birds have been visiting us this fall.  Here the kids are feeding the ducks that came during our lunch.

In this Art and History lesson we are making a version of great cathedral windows...

This week we learned about early church councils and creeds, and famous people of that time like Emperor Valens, Basil the Great, and Bishop Ambrose.

The kids continue to enjoy Shakespeare...

This week's Field Trip was to Evan's Orchard with a local homeschool group.

 We are so blessed when Grandma comes along on our Field Trips!

 We took a picnic lunch then later in the day enjoyed their yummy snacks...

A local church had a Movie Night and meet and greet with Rapunzel....

Thankfully we found a pretty awesome farm to buy our local organic beef, chicken and pork.  We went on a tour of the farm (in the rain).  We learned so much and was pleased to fill our freezer for the year.

We stopped by the house we lived in when Rose was born. (Lexington, KY)
