Ringing in a New Year

Originally we planned to be asleep as the new year came in. But I was in the mood to reorganize the school/craft room and was up doing that. Rose was in her room looking at books instead of sleeping. Chad was sleeping. At 11:30 he woke up and saw that we were still awake and suggest we stay up and ring in the new year together. So we turned on the tele to watch the ball drop and all came together in the livingroom. Rose was very excited! To help the half hour pass she explored her new magnet set...
and drew pictures on the easel....
and then screamed and jumped up and down with excitement at midnight.
