Field Trip: Safety Town

On St Patrick's Day we went on a very educational field trip to Safety town. (Gma was still visiting us and came on the field trip with us)

First we listened to a police talk. Very good info for the kids.
Explored a police car.
Fireman Talk. Very good info....right on the kids level!
Sit in the Fire truck.
Even Grandma climbed up there.
And mommy too.
And Rose got 2 turns!
She was having a good time.
Inside they had the town set up in preschool size. They had roads, sidewalks, street signs, street lights, etc.
First Rose was a pedestrian and navigated the town, obeying the rules and exploring the little buildings.

Then she got to be a "driver" on a big wheel and drive through town following the traffic laws.


This was a very good field trip. If your town does something like this, I recommend going! She learned a lot. And had the policeman and fireman really reinforce what mommy says.

Cooking helpers

In like a Lion....

March 1st sure did come in like a Lion so lets hope it goes out like a Lamb. The day before we got this beautiful snow it was in the 60's. It is suppose to be in the 70's on Thursday.....we'll see!

This was cray beautiful!
I had Daffodils bloomed and buds on my Magnolia tree that are now gone.
