Belly dancing

Rose got this costume out of her dress-up chest and asked us to put on daddy's fast music (we believe she was referring to his 80's music) and she danced and danced and danced.

Consignment Buys and Sells.....

The past few weeks I have sold some of Roses clothes online, sold some of her clothes, toys, books, shoes at a consignment sale, and sold our old couch on craigslist.
I have also found some good buys at the consignment sale and on clearance. Nice shirt for 75cents, Pj's for a couple bucks, etc, but my favorite buy is this Barbie ski jacket and ski pants for this winter. It is pink too -- how perfect. I also found some items that I was planning on getting Rose for Christmas... paid a fraction of what I was going to pay retail. :)

After Church

Getting up early update (by request) :)

Yes well my goal was to get up at 7 am every morning. It is still a work in progress. Monday and Tuesday I was up by 7:30; Wednesday and Thursday I got up about 7:45 and Friday was 8:30 am. Which is better than normal, but I kind of trailed off didn't I? So I am still going to try, but I am changing my goal to 7:30.
I think 7:30 is do-able ;)
I say "urghhh" to all of you morning people out there. ( just kidding ) (sort of) :)

Way down yonder on the Chattahoochee.....

Did you know that we live 4 miles from the Chattahoochee River? Neither did I!! I knew it was close but not that close. It only took us 10 minutes to get to the Chattahoochee National Rec Area. We went for a hike and enjoyed the river. Rose loved it!! Now that we know we are this close to this hidden away place, I know we will definitely be spend more time there. :)

Wednesday's Field Trip.../Rose 'modeling'

We went to see a Winnie the Pooh puppet show. Rose and Andrew seemed to really love it. It was cute watching them watch it and laugh and enjoy. Then we had lunch at IKEA (yes, the furniture store). We came back home and had our school time. Then had a picnic supper. Then church.

This first picture is when we first got to church and they were dancing around in the parking lot, excited about going to their Mission Friends and Choir Class :) Aren't they too fun!
These next photos were taken after church. Rose wanted to do some modeling and she posed for all of these shots (plus more). She didn't use the term "model" but she wanted me to take photos of her while she posed; and she moved from the column to the steps, etc on her own. She amazes me.

After Church

Today was Bible Study, Worship, playground, store, ate at Mellow Mushroom, went to the movies, and now that we are back home, Rose and Chad are swimming. All three of us wore tan today -I should of had someone else take the photo so Chad could of been in the photo, too.

On a separate note, I was thinking.....and I think I am going to start getting up at 7am every morning. For a lot of you that is no big deal or even 'sleeping in' to you. But for those of you that really know me well, know that I am NOT a morning person, not at all. As a matter of fact is not uncommon for me to sleep till 9. Yes there I said, now everyone knows. Luckily for me Rose inherited that same gene, she normally gets up around 9:30. So I was thinking of all things I could get done between 7am and when she wakes up. I am going to give it a try. And I guess since I am sharing this with you, I will be somewhat accountable. I'll let you know how I do :0) Wish me luck...and some of you know that this will be big time Major Deal for me!
